Dr. William J. Boots
William J. Boots, D.C. is a 1989 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has practiced chiropractic in the Fox Cities for his entire career. Prior to attending chiropractic school, he attended St. Norbert College from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Natural Sciences. Dr. Bill opened Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center, S.C. with his brother, Dr. Jim, in 1998.
Dr. Bill is licensed by the state of Wisconsin for Chiropractic and Nutritional Counseling. He also has an Advanced Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique, which he achieved in 1990, Dr. Bill earned his Certification in Sports Chiropractic (C.C.S.P.) in and Physical Fitness and Sports Injury Certification in 1991. Dr. Bill is also certified in Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology. He has extensive continuing education in areas of interest including extremities, sports injuries, whiplash, brain injuries, auto-related injuries, and nutrition. Dr. Bill is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association (WCA), National Institute of Chiropractic Research, and Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Bill grew up in Kimberly and currently resides in Combined Locks. As a lifelong resident of the Heart of the Valley area, community is very import to Dr. Bill. He has volunteered as a youth/high school basketball coach for several years and currently coaches the Kimberly High School summer basketball team. He also serves on the St. Paul Elder Services Community Advisory Board, served as a member of the Heart of the Valley YMCA Board, and the Kimberly Area School District Positive Youth Development Board. He was inducted in the Kimberly High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. Dr. Bill has also volunteered for the Village of Combined Locks in an effort to eradicate invasive buckthorn in the wooded areas of the village parks. Dr. Bill is a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Dr. Bill and his wife, Emilie, are the proud parents of Elizabeth (spouse Tim), Jennifer, and Benjamin. He enjoys spending time with his family at his cottage on Lake Poygan, traveling, attending sporting events, playing basketball, and working out at the YMCA.
